Blades, Beasts and Blooms- A cross-cultural enamel pin collection

Howdy Adventurers,

Only 8 days left of the campaign.........
Just a quick update- Tokii finished all of the Backing Card designs last night, each with an illustration inspired by legend, or landscape of the country/culture of origin.




During the campaign, pledgers have the opportunity to pick which specific pin they like. After the campaign is over, the 21 pins will be separated into 3 mystery series. We decided to separate them roughly by Critters, Drakes, and Serpents. They will also include their respective backing card/facts in each.

Here's a sneak peek at what the blind bag designs will look like. 


About a week left of the campaign. We're so excited for production and fufillment. We didn't expect such an influx of excitement- Thank you all for enjoying, and supporting our designs.

Sticker book design update:
This is our first sticker book design, we wanted to encompass as much of the campaign as possible- so we featured as many dragon types as we could from our campaign. What do you guys think?






Backer Cards:
With the results of the poll..........we are going to create unique backer cards for each pin!

Officially begun designing all 21 backer cards. Though....We thought it might be a great opportunity to get the community's input on them.




Here are the base Ideas so far (all subject to change, esp from inspiration in the comments)

Norse: Ancient battle ground littered with swords overgrown with moss.
Japan: Mt. Fuji in bg, pin on serene lake, cherry blossom branches in the foreground
America: Pin in perpetual limbo of fireworks and celebration.
MesoAmerica: A background of falling stars, the pin sits on Temple of Kukulcan: Mesoamerican American pyramid (since around the spring and autumn equinoxes create an illusion of a feathered serpent crawling down the temple).
Alpine: Snow tipped alpine range, maybe pin perched on a peak or a valley?
Medieval Europe: Pin sits on a castle rooted with climbing roses. (Welcome to specify castle details).
Korea: Feature pin on a korean buddhist temple with hibiscus in the foreground.
West Africa: Pin sits on a fisheye landscape of golden grasses, acacia trees silhouettes in the back, violets in the foreground.
Scotland: Windswept green hills with thistles in foreground, background a storm, with lightning.
Egypt: Pin sits on an egyptian column, the foreground sweeping sand, background the pyramids of Giza.
Brazil: (Having trouble with this one) A forest floor dapples with rays of sunlight and crossing vines.
Philippines: Sweeping waves in foreground, center are the phases of a total lunar eclipse (since Bakunawa legend involves eating the moon- causing lunar eclipses).
Greece: Pin rests on the Parthenon, foreground are remnants of ruins and stone, with acanthus flowers growing in between.
Maori: Pin sits on a lake bordered by lush mountains.
France: Originally lavender field- may change this to the pin sitting beneath a trellis of grapes in a vineyard.
Ethiopia: Lush green, waterfalls in the back?
India: Pin sits Infront of a naga temple. Foreground is a pond with lotuses and lilies.
Salvic: Vibrant blues and white, a broken tundra with mountians in the back.
Mesopotamia: Pin on a a mesopotamian Ziggurat
China: Zhangjiajie mountains (legend that a great dragon lived beneath the mountains in a cave).
Drago-duck: Maybe sitting on a giant lily pad on a monet-like lake?

We wanted to create something that's rather collectible, (and from popular request) have information on each one. Each card will have 3 grey text boxes that will contain information of every Blade, Beast, and Bloom. We're hoping each will be significant in someway (rather than just opting for flat, different colors) and leave a lasting impression.

Hello adventurers, it Tokii :>

Some have noticed already but wanted to announce I finished the new sticker sheets! All blades and a bounty of blooms. They'll be available as an add-on if you're interested.
Also....I wanted the community to be part of the design process for the new stickerbook, (please, excuse the messiness of the sketch- I kinda draw chaotically, though let me know if it's literally unintelligible)

What do you think of this base design? I've been wanting a way to include some of every design featured in the campaign in an elegant way, but I don't know if it's too much. I also would greatly appreciate any suggestions on what to put for the back cover of the sticker book(leaving it blank also an option).





I'll give some time for discussion on this. Tomorrow I'll start to work on the base for all 21 unique backer card designs, and if you guys like to be part of that design process too just comment! I'm still new to crowdfunding, and building communities, I'm a little shy irl, I don't want to annoy with too frequent of updates, but I would love feedback/direction on the designs I make. 

Also Jacob also fell sick with the flu......so I've been a little everywhere.

Howdy Adventurers!

WOW what an amazing first few days. Not only did we fund our first pin in 1 hr, but we managed to unlock stretch goals in a day.
Noble and valiant achievements.

To celebrate we've been thinking of new goodies we could add.
We saw that sticker sheets were some of the most popular items- so we decided we'll be designing more things akin to that. I'm working on designing a reusable adventurer sticker book, and making two new sticker sheets- one for all cultures blades, and the other containing every culture's flowers. And through polls we'll help get direction together. 

ALSO
We've been debating the best way to do this, we want to make our campaign a memorable one- not just with design but information you can take away from it. We've been thinking of making large collectible backing cards, uniquely designed to each of the 21 designs with descriptions of every Blade, Beast, and Bloom.

Like...Little...adventure entries I suppose? But we're not sure if people even keep backing cards- so we would love your input for a vote.

Going forward we will be using polls more often to determine direction for designs. We want you to have power in determining this journey. So come back to visit the community tab every so often! 

If you're lucky you might even catch Tokii streaming while she designs. Feel free to come chat. Hangout. She'd probably be shy, but enjoy the company.

Adventurers! Amazing news....

We managed to not only fund within the first hour, but within 24hrs unlocked the entire collection.

Look at the art you've all been able to help bring into the world. Thank you guys for joining my journey on the largest design project we've ever embarked on!

In the coming weeks we'll release a few polls to make quality-of-life improvements to some of our merch. We might even add on some extra things depending how discussions, suggestions, and how polls go. We love your interaction and feedback. Thank you for an exceptional first day.
